I've previously bought the 42L bag from ThreePeaks and really enjoyed using that for flights and weekend trips. I really like the modular ecosystem they have built, and it's cool to see the brand innovate year on year. The Tide 18L has been my latest purchase. Still haven't tested it in a variety of conditions, but it's a simple bag for every day use.
Love it better, than I expected. It arrived the next day. I highly recommend it. Very impressed
Found this bag when looking online and I am throughly impressed. Great for travelling as it has loads of space and it is very well made.
Really wasnt expecting to be as impressed as I am! Amazing quality. Even my Mrs, who had a fit when I said Id spent £130 on a bag to use for the weekend, said it was worth every penny 5 minutes into looking at it. Seriously great.
Delighted with my new bag for work. It's got so much storage for all devices and equipment and is very comfortable with a full capacity on your shoulders. Very affordable as well having checked out alot of the main well known labels. Will be recommending to many friends
Really pleased with my new rucksack. Great design, not too bulky and fits everything perfectly. I would definitely recommend. Had some lovely comments on it as well, asking where I bought it.
The kitbag 38L is well in shape for my travel soon
Great purchase
Kaito 20L - Limited Edition Candy Pink
Good quality, like as described, can’t wait to bring with me to my next trip , such a good customer service
Looks good, sturdy, well made and has oodles of space. Highly recommend.
Small bag but works well for the essentials like phone, external charger, wallet, keys, pen and some snacks.
Great bag. Really well made. A decent size and not too bulky. Really pleased and would recommend.
Only trial packed this purchase so far, so no real world travelling yet. The quality appears to be first class and it has exceeded my expectations on the amount you can pack in it. I packed enough for 8 days and there was still space for more. Felt good on my back when packed and I can imagine it would be comfortable to carry from the airport to my hotel via the train. I love the idea of not having to wheel a bag through a city when taxis aren't required. Will be taking it away on a multi city trip to Canada in September, using the railway so will see better then just how good it is.
Great product, well made and just what was needed. Thanks to the excellent staff for their guidance and suggestions.
Ideal sling bag that I bought for festivals, holidays and day trips. Excellent design and build quality with plenty of space for phones, chargers etc. Adjustable strap , breathable material and padding make it comfortable to wear throughout the day.
I had been looking for something as an every day bag for quite a while until I came across the 22L from Three Peaks. I am impressed with the quality and the details. I got a couple of insert bags for it as well which are made of the same high quality. I am now going to get one of their larger bags as well.
My wife and I ordered two Nomad 42L packs as we like the idea of it being a pack we can wear as well as having the convenience of travel suitcase style access. We also travel only with hand luggage!
So, what do we like about the Nomad 42L so far?
1) Easy access top pocket. This is great for headphones, sunglasses, hat, etc. It's also handy to have that clear plastic bag of liquids in for certain airlines.
2) Being rectangular with a flat bottom the pack sits upright on a flat surface. This means it doesn't roll over if you try and get something out the top pocket.
3) The zips all have a waterproof cover - nice touch.
4) The waist and chest belts are both detachable which makes it less 'strappy' if you aren not using them.
5) The laptop slot is large and perfect and there's a nice padded pocket on the near front (that goes against your back) for wallet, passport, etc.
6) Side and top handles for easy lugging around. Again, a nice touch.
Note: I read online that someone complained that the side pockets (for water bottles) were loose but this was definitely NOT the case. The side pockets are snug and can be tightened. I never had to worry about my water bottle falling out.
One tip would be to definitely use it with packing cubes. As some of the cubes weren't available when we ordered, we ordered Eco cubes (made from recycled plastic bottles) from Amazon and they were and are great.
What would I improve? Possibly an accessible zip pocket that you can get your passport/card out easily without taking off the pack. We found that when the pack is on, we have our passport and a card in a breast zipped pocket of a sweater - essential if travelling around, say London where you're clocking in and out of tube stations, etc.
The pack works well on British Airways as hand luggage. Please note that some flights have different size overhead lockers! For example, on a Boeing 777, the window row lockers are bigger than the central row lockers. Our packs fitted perfectly end-ways in the window row overheads but would have to go sideways into a central row locker. In other words, book those side aisles!
We've not had the packs long and only made a couple of trips with them - but so far, so good and we both really like them. When we got home with them our 18-year old son was so impressed he's going to get one too!
