Wow! What an awesome bag. Unlike a number of other backpacks I have tested the straps on this are wide enough to spread the weight and be comfortable. Excellent amount of space inside - everything well designed and of a quality build. The top opening compartment is perfect to access bits when travelling. Weight evenly distributed and sits nicely on your back. All in all an excellent bag and next day delivery. In fact I loved the bag so much I immediately ordered the 20l commuter as well which has just arrived and is equally awesome.

I bought it as a gift or my husband. He is very pleased with it , very spacious for a summer trip and ideal for going to work with his huge laptop! Great quality and design. 100% recommended!

I have been looking for a while for a backpack with the capacity for a weeks travel that will be accepted on all airlines as cabin luggage.
This backpack fits the bill completely. Good quality with enough storage and various pockets for valuables like electronics.
Comfortable to carry like a backpack with the shoulder straps or l8ke a small case with the carry handle.
To give an example of the storage capacity I have managed to pack - 2 pairs of shoes, 1 pair of trousers, 2 pairs of shorts, 7 shirts plus toiletries, which is easily enough for a week away.
Excellent and strongly recommended.

I was struggling with a back pack that would hold astro-imaging equipment for a cruise up beyond the Arctic Circle between Greenland and Iceland to (hopefully) see the total solar eclipse August 12th.

I have other bags but was still not happy. I ordered the 30L hybrid. Today I was able to do a trial packing which includes a Seestar30 Pro, an Acuter Phoenix hydrogen alpha telescope with a camera, mounted on a Sky Watcher Solarquest, two tripods and a compact power pack for the Phoenix/Solarquest combo.

Though there is no baggage restriction on weight there is on dimension. Baggage has to go under the bed, 23cm headspace maximum. Plus optics need good protection.

Though more expensive, the quality is superb and well thought out. Plus I'm looking at this buy as an investment for more trips back to New Zealand...

Overall quality of the bag is good and storage compartments are spacious, accommodating more items than other bags of similar capacity. It’s also comfortable to carry. The RFID zip pocket in the rear of the bag is a great addition. It’s a good bag and I am happy with it but I have experienced a few issues:

It’s slightly let down by some of the strap arrangements. The top zip compartment can only be properly accessed by undoing the two straps over the top of the bag which is a bit inconvenient when you don’t have two hands free or you’re in a rush. They also tend to come loose and open if not pulled very tight, the metal buckles can fall down and swing around when lifting the bag up and down.

If the main compartment is full then it pushes against the top compartment, so when you open it you need to be careful your items don’t fall out as it doesn’t retain its shape well.

If the bag is fully loaded then the main straps weigh on the zip compartment to the main bag, the two shoulder buckles don’t have enough length to tighten them fully so I fear a lot of the weight of the bag is going through the zip which may disintegrate over time.

It would also be handy to have a zip opening on the outside of the bag, perhaps the top compartment, for quick access, when in the airport or travelling for example.

The rain cover is separate to the bag, it would be more ideal to be integrated to the bag although I appreciate this adds size and weight to the overall bag. But having it separate also takes up internal carry space and potential to leave it behind.

Backpack is great, I wish the opening at the front was larger though. 6L camera protection case doesnt seem to fir in if there is a bottle on the outside of the bag either

I use this as my gym bag.
Carry a pair of lifters, spare t and towel inside the main compartment which are then inside the boot bag.
Around the outside I've got a 2pood belt that fits nicely. Top pocket has various wraps, tape, skipping rope, chalk etc.
Pretty good for what I need it to do!

I don't like the mesh material that goes against your back and is on the straps, it just feels a bit low quality.

The hooks on the top pocket come undone easily; apart from that, the bag is incredible.

This is my third ThreePeaks bag and second in this series as I already have the 42L.
As with the other purchases I am extremely happy with the bag, using it as my daily bag for laptop and other essentials as I'd outgrown the 22L commuter.
Its more than big enough for eveything I need to take, with the usual features such as the laptop sleeve and other pockets for cables etc... very handy.
Can't recommend ThreePeaks kit enough, they are high quality and extremely well priced.

After much research online for an approved Ryanair cabin bag, and checking reviews I decided to go for the 30L travel hybrid in black. There was an added delay on delivery but I was kept updated. I’m yet to use it for travel but first impressions I’m very happy with the quality and overall size I like the top storage ideal for usb storage accessories etc. The material seems very good quality and love the orange interior hence I went for the black option. If I was to make any changes I would prefer the option to remove the actual backpack straps, or be able to zip them away! But over all the quality of the materials the storage and company ethos I wouldn’t hesitate recommending the travel hybrid 30l looking forward to using it for my planned travel.

I wanted an all purpose replacement for my ortlieb velocity commuter backpack, and the 30L was recommended. Whilst having the same dimensions, the 30L has more practical space and features like the laptop sleeve, top compartment, and straps

Excellent travel backpack. Great quality materials with a large interior storage and numerous pockets. Very comfortable shouder straps, even when fully loaded. This will definitely be my go to backpack for weekend getaways.

This backpack ends all other backpacks in my opinion. I truly have a cupboard with 7 different backpacks I've collected over the years and never throw any out. I may keep a much smaller one I have, but the rest are going. The front access makes it so easy to pack and get access to, and I can fit more in thatnother supposedly larger packs. You can also carry clothes which don't end up crushed and crumpled. I went for the 30L which is perfect for a carry on bag, but will likely also get the 24 litre for work and going to the gym and also the 42 litre for when I'm on a day out carrying whatever kit and food I need to cater for my 7 year old son. congratulations Three Peaks, you've nailed it.

Solidly built backpack. Super comfy to wear with an arrangement of different pockets. Pack your stuff in, zip up and get out there. There’s no doubt this backpack can go anywhere and conquer it all.

This Hybrid is amazing. It allows me to take all I need for my college days and for photo shoots or hikes and it is so comfortable. It has lot of useful pockets inside. I really love this backpack.

Top notch bag, built well a bigger than expected packing area. The photos, although very good quality, don't show the bag off well enough. It has all the features advertised, but you have to really ready into the marketing and then you go....oooh it does have all this awesome stuff going on.

Regardless of that, it's waterproof, comfy looks good and stylish. I have had a rolltop22 for over a year and it's put up with all sorts and is still tough and solid, I imagine this will be the same!
