Great quality materials but the bag does not sit comfortably on the body at all and feels very awkward. Has potential to be a great bag if it could just be adjusted better. Bit of a let down

Great day camera bag when I go light

Ideally access to the main compartment of the camera sling needs to be at the top when wearing the bag. This would secure the RFID compartment against the body. However positioning of the ‘connectors’ at each end of the strap and the positioning of the fabric connecting loops or D-rings means that whichever connection is used the bag swivels [unless held] so the RFID pocket is exposed at the top and the zip of the camera compartment is pointing down….so that if one had forgotten to do up the zip the contents of the main compartment would fall to the ground. I have tried every which way to attach the handle to address this problem but without success. Also…it would make sense to have the camera compartment lid open away from the body - protecting the contents from view by others and making access to the contents easier without the lid in the way between the body and the hand reaching for the camera. The only way to achieve this would be to turn the RFID compartment away from the body compromising its security.
I bought this sling as part of a travel package with a 30L backpack. Both items appear well made from good quality materials but I have yet to use the sling for its purpose because of the reasons explained above and frankly I am considering returning the item to threepeaksgbr

I am impressed with the camera sling 6L because it's compact enough for walking around cities talking photographs without a cumbersome backpack. it is also large enough to take iPhone, cards, spare lens, compact camera, keys, earbuds etc. The shoulder strap is adjustable to allow it to be worn at the front or back with ease of access without removing the sling bag itself. Perfect!

Had to return for a refund, 2 major design faults - firstly a bag designed to carry a camera which didn’t fit the camera into it and secondly a strap to hold a tripod which goes on the top not the bottom so you can’t actually get anything out of the bag if you have a tripod attached 🤦🏻‍♀️

Good looking bag, can just fit my canon R8 with 24 -105 lens in it with room for a small prime. Would. Love a guide on how to utilise the different attachment points. Other than that I am looking forward to using on my trips

Well made but very small

I wanted this to use with my DSLR, with a moderate lens, but its very small - I should have checked the dimensions before pressing the buy button.

The bag looks and feels premium, and it provides excellent protection for the camera.
However, as others have already pointed out, the two straps over the main compartment zipper feel like an unnecessary gimmick. The buckles are too fiddly to undo when you need to access the camera quickly, which defeats the whole purpose of a sling bag. A sling is designed to be worn on your back, swung around to the front, and opened in seconds so you can capture a shot without delay.
Leaving the straps unbuckled isn't really an option either, as they just dangle awkwardly.
Hopefully, the next version of this bag will have a more practical and better-thought-out design.

Camera Sling 6L

Love the removeable sections. using as a sling rather than for camera. Lots of room, fits large water bottle, goodies and other outdoor accessories (waterproof jacket), and great to have RFID secure zipped pocket for added security. Will be testing it for real in Paris in April whilst my daughter runs the Paris marathon!

Well made & brilliant looks.

But ultimately disappointing as I couldn’t comfortably fit a Z6III and 24-120. Oh, if only there was a little more room inside!

Overall pretty good!

Quality and build is fantastic (its new so we will see how it holds up)

The only negative i have is that it sits weird, because its quite solid and bulky, it doesn’t quite rest around you without slightly tilting forward. You can tighten it to prevent that, but then its harder to swing around your body

Excellent functionality but need to find a way to tuck away loose straps

Love the waterproof exterior and the roomy interior. The straps act as a line of defence against anybody who wants to steal from the bag. The small compartment is good for holding small items such as earbuds and a power bank. Plenty of ways to wear the strap due to several clipping points. One issue is that I do wish the shoulder pad were fixed in place rather than movable. It would be better to have one long strap instead of one that constantly moves out of place. It would be great if the shoulder pad had better padding as well.

Brilliant

I have a range of Three Peaks products! And they all are brilliant. Well thought out, high quality and exactly what you need.

The camera sling works perfectly for me on fitness shoots. It enables me to take another lense with me without having to go back to my main bag. Brilliant!

Super excellent wow

Don’t usually write reviews unless something is pretty wow. Beautifully engineered and top class materials.
Wow.

Great bag well made

An exceptionally well built bag with bags of room for my Sony A7iv and a couple of (smaller) lenses, plus some basic accessories.

Unfortunately a bit bulky for my needs (to go in a north face fuse box) but overall a decent bag!

Almost perfect, but one big design oddity

Great for a mirrorless 3 lens kit, quality is nice. And i like the look of the bag that doesn’t scream camera bag and doesn’t look like a ladies handbag either. HOWEVER, the straps that go across the top of the main zipped compartment make it much slower to access the main zipped compartment of the bag if they are in use. And you can’t really stow them out the way very well. The straps with the metal clips can sort of be clipped to each other out the way, but then the straps on the main front face just flap about. These straps are unnecessary for securing the main sipped compartment, maybe they are for holding a tripod etc. in that case it would be much much better to put it underneath the bag so you can stow them away when not in use and access the camera when you are carrying a tripod. I am considering just cutting them off tbh.

6l sling (for camera).

Colour green great, and a pleasant change from black. Construction and finish very good. Looks neat and water resistive. Padding internal and external just what I would have expected. Space for camera and spare lense or small binoculars.

Packing great

the camera sling is part of the travel / adventure rucksack and integrates perfectly. Great value too. Well done Three Peaks.

Phenomenal rucksack

It has just about every feature you could want. A lot of thought has gone into this 42l pack. Easy to fit in everything and loads of pockets and features

Great quality but sadly just a bit small for our camera and lense.
