Through the lens of our creators.
Morocco is a full-sensory experience - colour, sound, spice, movement - and the perfect stress test for travel gear. On this trip, our crew hit Morocco with two mission-critical bags: the 30L Travel Hybrid and the 24L Travel Commuter. Five people, one buzzing city, endless photo ops, and a surprise side plot - the Africa Cup of Nations semi-final turning every café into a stadium. Here’s how it all played out.

Gear Set-Up
We rolled in with a 3-person camera crew and 2 locally sourced models, starting in our riad before heading into quiet backstreets, historic ruins (briefly… security had other ideas), and the electric maze of the Medina.
Camera Set-Up:
• GH7 – Main video workhorse (flexible crop).
• S5M2 – Primary stills camera for model shots.
• Hana Pickup – Stills + short clips.
• Canon R - Bonus Cam - Gimbal + handheld mix, fun candid energy.
• Pocket 3 – Driving shots + selfie/UGC vibes - perfect transition content.
• Mobile – Casual model POV content – provided added authentic UGC flavour.
Not every frame was perfect — but travel storytelling is about energy, not studio precision. The day flow: Riad → Quiet streets → Ruined palace → Medina markets. The variety made Morocco the ultimate real-world gear test.

Marrakech: A Visual Playground
Into The Medina
We spent most of our time inside the Medina of Marrakesh, where every corner looks like a film set. Textures, tiles, lantern light, and dusty sunbeams - photographer heaven.
At night, Jemaa el-Fnaa exploded with football energy. The AFCON semi-final meant:
• Bars overflowing
• Crowds glued to screens
• Roars echoing through alleyways
Capturing lifestyle shots in that atmosphere added real, lived-in storytelling to the bags in action.

Chaos Ready
The 30L Travel Hybrid was the hero for gear-heavy days. Why it worked so well in Marrakech:
Gear organisation
• 17” laptop sleeve
• Easy-access top pocket
• Bottle pockets (essential hydration in North Africa)
• Strap loops & pockets for quick-grab items
• The 6L & 12L Camera Inserts – for tech organisation.
Street-shoot efficiency
Front and rear access to the main compartment made lens swaps quick without unpacking everything on dusty streets.
Travel-smart design
• Cabin-friendly size
• Luggage sleeve for airport transitions
• RFID pocket for passports/cards (huge in busy areas)
Comfort over long days
Padded straps + breathable back panel = no shoulder fatigue after hours weaving through souks.
Weather-ready
February gave us warm sun and the occasional cool breeze — perfect conditions, but the water-resistant outer + storm cover meant zero stress if the weather turned.
It felt purpose-built for “moving production team in a busy city” energy.

The Agile Option
While the 30L carried the bulk, the 24L Travel Commuter shined when mobility mattered. Best for:
• Model-led walking shots
• Quick street portraits
• Light day carries
• Tight spaces in markets
With the waist strap attached, it stayed stable during movement shots and looked proportional on smaller frames - great for lifestyle visuals that didn’t scream “technical gear bag.”

Riad to Medina
How the Bags Fit the Day
Morning – Riad calm
Soft light, clean architecture, and controlled setups. Both bags looked premium and travel-ready without overpowering the aesthetic.
Late Morning – Quiet streets
Less crowded alleys let us get clean walking shots. The 24L looked sleek; the 30L read as serious travel gear.
Midday – Ruined palace stop
Short-lived (we got moved along), but perfect for rugged-travel storytelling.
Afternoon – Medina madness
Tight alleys, crowds, sensory overload. This is where:
• The 24L & 30L’s security pockets mattered.
• The comfortable straps paid off.
• Quick access points saved time.

Tips When Visiting Marrakech
6 top tips based on our trip:
• Stay inside the Medina at least one night - Riads give you peaceful contrast to the chaos outside.
• Go early for photos. Morning light + fewer crowds = magic.
• Keep essentials secure. Busy markets = use RFID pockets & zipped compartments.
• Hydrate constantly. Even in February, dry heat sneaks up on you.
• Expect sensory overload — embrace it. It’s loud, busy, and unforgettable. Lean into the experience.
• Football nights are cultural events
If a big match is on, head to a café. The atmosphere is unreal.
Final Verdict: 30L vs 24L in Morocco
If Morocco is movement, texture, and unpredictability… the 30L is your
basecamp, and the 24L is your roaming daypack.
Both earned their passport stamps. 🌍✈️
